
The men's soccer team was coming off a 5-2 loss against a tough Onondaga squad and the Raiders were looking to bounce back against Jamestown. FMCC hosted the Jayhawks on Saturday afternoon in a Region 3 match-up. The Raiders were unable to earn the victory and lost in a tough overtime game, 1-0.
Both teams played each other evenly in regulation. FMCC had 8 shots on goal, but were unable to take advantage of scoring opportunities.
In overtime, it took Jamestown just 41 seconds to find the back of the net for a 1-0 victory. FMCC moves to 5-4 on the season and will travel to play SUNY Adirondack on Wednesday, October 6th at 4:00 p.m.
