The men's soccer team defeated Hudson Valley Community College on Sunday afternoon in the opening round of the Region III Championship tournament.

The Raiders started out strong and defeated the Vikings, 5-0. Gaynor Leveridge got FM on the board in the first half off of a Yarlen Guity corner kick.

In the second half, Leveridge, Rasheed Willis, Famourlaye Cisse and Daryl Kabasele all found the back of the net.

The Raiders will head to Genesee Community College to take on the Cougars in a semi-final matchup. The game is set for Wednesday, October 27th at 4:00 p.m.
