The men's soccer team got off to a strong start on Wednesday, as they hosted SUNY Adirondack in their season opener. FMCC dominated the match in a 5-0 victory.
Just six minutes into play, Marvin Koceku scored on a Roberto Salinas assist. Two minutes later, the Raiders continued to bring the pressure and Lewis Potter-Scarborough put FM up 2-0.
With 18 minutes left in the first half, Daryl Kabasele came in with fresh legs and crossed a ball across the box for a Bobby Salinas goal.
In the second half, The Raiders continued to win every ball and dominate the possession. Famourlaye Cisse converted on a penalty kick and Kabasele scored the 5th and final goal of the game with 5 minutes left.
The Raiders will now travel to Albany College of Pharmacy on September 8th for a 5pm non-conference matchup.
