Men's Soccer Shuts Out TC3 and Broome

The Men's Soccer Team extended their winning streak to four games over the weekend. FMCC defeated Tompkins Cortland and Broome Community College to improve to 9-4 overall.

On Saturday, The Raiders defeated TC3 by a score of 3-0. Roberto Salinas tallied two goals in the win. Curtis Arnold scored his first goal of the season and tallied an assist. Daryl Kabasele was also credited with an assist in the victory.

On Sunday, FMCC dominated the match in a 7-0 win over Broome. Renee Andrade, Salinas and Kabasele (2) pushed the score to 4-0 in the first half. Marvin Koceku had two assists, Arnold and Jackson McCandlish each had an assist.

In the second half, Lewis Potter-Scarborough found the back of the net for his first goal of the season and teams 5th of the match. Moussa Sonaga and Andrade rounded out the scoring for the 7-0 win. Sonaga, Kabasele and Vitor Farias each had an assist in the second half.

The Raiders are now 3rd in the Region III standings behind Herkimer and Genesee. They will have a much-needed week off and will get back to action on Wednesday, October 12th when they host North Country Community College.
