The Men's Soccer team opened their 2023 season on the road on Wednesday night. The Raiders traveled to SUNY Adirondack for a Mountain Valley Conference match-up.
FMCC came out on top in a big way as they routed the Timberwolves in a 6-0 shutout victory.
Kyrise Frontin got the scoring started for the Raiders in the 9th minute. Jackson McCandlish tallied a goal in the first half and Marvin Koceku scored back-to-back goals to round out the half leading 4-0. Christian Davies and Yarin Erez scored the final two goals of the second half to secure the 6-0 win.
McCandlish led with two assists on the day. Yarin Erez, Koceku, Aidan MacLagan, Frontin, and Luwani Alvarez each tallied an assist.
The men's soccer team now prepares for a weekend road trip. They will travel to play Niagara CC on Saturday and Erie CC on Sunday.
