
The men's soccer team improved to 2-1 on Wednesday afternoon with a 3-0 victory over SUNY Adirondack.
The Raiders struck first in the 33rd minute of the match as Sidney Ngala Ligunya ripped a shot that hit off the cross bar. Miguel Silva collected the rebound off the cross bar and passed to Hugo Alejandro Morales who converted on the score.
In the second half, Bradley Warren scored off a Carlos Pazos assist. In the final 30 second of the match. Pazos drove up the field and booted a left kick passed the Adirondack keeper for the final goal of the match.
Carlos Jose Romero Astacio was relentless in goal. He had several eye-opening grabs to complete the shutout victory in the net and collected 5 total saves.
The Raiders will now begin a long road stand. They are set to hit the road for a weekend double-header at Herkimer on Saturday, September 14th and at Jamestown on Sunday.
