
The FMCC men's soccer team fell short on Sunday in the opening round of the Region 3 post-season tournament. The Raiders were seeded 9th and traveled to take on the #8 seeded Jamestown Jayhawks.
FM gave up one first half goal to go down 1-0. In the second half, Jamestown scored two back-to-back goals to go ahead, 3-0.
Juri Barnstorf-Brand connected for FM on a penalty kick in the 65th minute, but it was not enough as Jamestown scored two more times to secure the 5-1 win.
The Raiders finish their season with a 5-7-1 overall record. They had a big win over nationally ranked Genesee and played to a draw with national ranked Mohawk Valley.
