The Fulton-Montgomery Community College men's soccer team delivered an impressive performance on Sophomore Recognition Day, shutting out SUNY Broome 4-0 in their final regular-season match on Saturday afternoon at Gloversville High School.

The Raiders controlled play from the opening whistle. They broke through in the first half when Augusto Silva converted a chance to give the hosts a 1-0 advantage heading into halftime.

In the second half, the Raiders' offense erupted for three more goals to seal the victory. Lennart Kübler, Gauthier Tuot, and Jona Gramer each found the back of the net, while Bradley Warren and Adam Rose added assists to round out a balanced attack.

Goalkeepers Benjamin Bader and Connor Kohn combined for the shutout, with Kohn turning away all three shots faced in the second half.

The win capped off a memorable day for the program as FMCC celebrated its sophomores for their commitment and contributions to Raider athletics.

With the victory, Fulton-Montgomery improves their record to 8-2-1 and will look to carry this momentum into postseason play which begins on Saturday, October 25th.
