Game One
Mohawk Valley's Hannah Wasco allowed only one FM hit, and the Lady Hawks went on a nine-run scoring spree in the first inning. The home team had only three extra-base hits, but they had plenty of singles as they rolled to an 11-0 win.
Game Two
FM's bats came to life right away in Game Two. The visitors scored three runs in the first inning, added another in the fifth, and tallied two in the seventh to earn a 6-1 win.
Alyssa Palmateer stepped into the circle for FM and pitched what may well have been her best collegiate game. Palmateer allowed just four hits. She also stroked a double to aid her own cause.
Freshman Catcher Ashley Przybylowicz had another strong game at the plate. She hit safely three times in four at-bats, including a triple, and she scored three runs.

Short stop Stephanie Rice hit an RBI triple. Abby Boyer doubled in a run and then scored on a passed ball.
Raiders' Head Coach Meghan Power had high praise for Palmateer: "Alyssa pitched a phenomenal game. She allowed just four hits and none of them were hard hits." Power also praised the play of center fielder Lauren Balfe.
FM is now 1-3 on the season and 1-1 in conference play. MV is 1-9 (1-1). FM's next games are scheduled for Sunday, April 12 when they will host North Country CC in a 1:00 p.m. doubleheader.
