The Lady Raiders were bested by the Hudson Valley Vikings in a Mountain Valley Conference Matchup. FM dropped Game one 13-2 and Game two 11-2.

The Vikings scattered 13 hits in Game One to take an early lead. FM answered with 7 hits in the contest, but could only score two runs to take the loss. Miranda Nethaway drilled a long double to deep center field to lead off in the second inning, but were unable to score. Julie Hampton and Emily Towne led the offense for the Raiders with two hits each and Towne collected an RBI. Braelin Aldi and Alyssa Gelina scored for FM.
In Game Two the Lady Raiders had 8 hits, but struggled to string hits together with runners in scoring position. Hampton went 3-for-3 at the plate, including a double and scored both runs for FM. Towne followed with another two hit game. Gabrielle Smith, Miranda Nethaway, and Allysa Gelina each had a hit.
The Raiders will host Corning CC on Sunday, April 23rd. Games are set for 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m.
