The Raiders softball team dropped four games against conference opponents.  FM lost 2-1 and 13-1 on Friday against Adirondack and lost 15-3 and 9-1 against Mohawk Valley on Sunday.

FM's Emily Towne pitched a great game one against Adirondack, but they just couldn't put enough runs on the board.  The Timberwolves scored one run in the 1^st inning and another in the 3^rd inning. FM got things going in the 7^th inning when Miranda Nethaway doubled and scored off of a Gabrielle Smith bunt.  It wasn't enough as they dropped game one 2-1.

The Timberwolves scored 7 runs in the 4^th inning of Game two and the Lady Raiders could not recover.  Julie Hampton led the Raiders at the plate going 2-for-3 and Charlene Moreira had the other lone hit for FM in a 13-1 loss.

FM traveled to Mohawk Valley on Sunday for another Mountain Valley Conference match up.  The Hawks pounded out 18 hits in a 15-3 win over the Raiders.  Hampton, Emily Towne, Megan Patterson and Gabrielle Smith each had one hit. In game two, FM suffered a 9-1 loss.  Hampton had another two hit game.  Smith and Towne followed with a hit a piece.

The Raiders will travel to Jefferson CC on Tuesday for a double header set for 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
