FM's Emily Towne pitched a great game one against Adirondack, but they just couldn't put enough runs on the board.  The Timberwolves scored one run in the 1st inning and another in the 3rd inning. FM got things going in the 7th inning when Miranda Nethaway doubled and scored off of a Gabrielle Smith bunt.  It wasn't enough as they dropped game one 2-1.

The Timberwolves scored 7 runs in the 4th inning of Game two and the Lady Raiders could not recover.  Julie Hampton led the Raiders at the plate going 2-for-3 and Charlene Moreira had the other lone hit for FM in a 13-1 loss.

FM traveled to Mohawk Valley on Sunday for another Mountain Valley Conference match up.  The Hawks pounded out 18 hits in a 15-3 win over the Raiders.  Hampton, Emily Towne, Megan Patterson and Gabrielle Smith each had one hit. In game two, FM suffered a 9-1 loss.  Hampton had another two hit game.  Smith and Towne followed with a hit a piece.

The Raiders will travel to Jefferson CC on Tuesday for a double header set for 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
