Softball Finishes 2018 Season

The women's softball team finished their 2018 season on Sunday against the #1 ranked Herkimer Generals.  FM fell in the double header 17-0 and 20-0.

Sam De La Fleur and Emily Washburn each singled to start game one, but were unable to push a run across. Herkimer scored two runs in the bottom half of the inning.

De La Fleur threw a scoreless 2nd inning to hold the high powered Herkimer offense to just two runs.  The Generals opened the game up in the 3rd inning scoring 10 runs. 

In game two, Emily Washburn pitched for the Raiders.  She held the Generals to just one run over three innings.  The Lady Raiders could not get the bats going. 

Herkimer scored 11 runs in the 4th and 8 runs in the 5th inning to seal the victory.  Same De La Fleur had the lone hit for FM.
