JOHNSTOWN – Raiders' basketball is back. The holiday break has ended, and FM's men's and women's basketball teams are ready to resume their campaigns.

The Herkimer Generals will visit the Raiders Den this Thursday evening. The women's game will tip off at 5:00 p.m. and the men's contest will follow at approximately 7:00. Basketball fans should enjoy both contests.

The Lady Raiders have an impressive season record of 8-2 (8-1 in D-III play, 3-0 in conference competition), while Herkimer's women have a 4-6 season mark (1-1 conference).

FM's men have played nine games, seven of which have been close contests. The Raiders' record is 3-6. Herkimer's men have won eight games and have lost three. They are currently ranked #7 nationally among Division III teams.

January will be a busy month for the Raiders. The men will play six home games and three games on the road. The Lady Raiders have five home contests and two road games on their January schedule. It should be a good month for fans to enjoy Raider basketball.
