Board of Trustees Recognizes All Region Basketball Players

The Men's and Women's Basketball All Region Student-Athletes were honored by the Board of Trustees Thursday night.  My'eesa Grant, Abby Boyer, and Moet Jenkins were recognized from the women's side and Barceem Dukes and Ayodele Akinmola were honored from the men's team.

My'eesa Grant was named to the the 1st Team All-Region and All-Conference teams.  Grant is a force in the paint where she averaged 15.2 ppg, 12.6 rebound per game, and 2.8 blocks per game. 

Abby Boyer was named to the 3rd Team All-Region, as well as 2nd Team All-Conference.  Abby is a leader both on and off the court.  She is averaged 11.3 ppg and 7.1 rebounds per game.  

FM's point guard Moet Jenkins was also named to the 3rd Team All-Region and 3rd Team All-Conference.  Mo is known for her quickness and ability to facilitate the offense.  Jenkins averaged 7.5 ppg and 4.3 assists per game. 

Seniors and Student-Athletes, Ayodele Akinmola and Barceem Dukes were honored for their 2015-2016 Basketball Campaign.  Akinmola was named to the All-Region 2nd Team and the All-Conference 1st Team. Ayodele led the way for the Raiders all season long averaging 19.2 ppg.  Barceem Dukes was named to the 3rd Team All-Conference as he averaged 12.6 ppg, along with 4.8 rebounds per game.
