Former Raiders Spotlight

Many former Fulton Montgomery Student-Athletes have moved on in their successful playing careers. This spotlight takes a look at three former Raiders student-athletes: Stephanie Rice, Khaleeq Baum and Jigcara Grant.

Stephanie Rice played for the FM Women's Basketball team from 2013-2015. Rice led the Raiders to the Region III Final game in 2014 and averaged 10.7 points per game in her first season.  In her second season Rice led her team on the court as she averaged a team high 16.7 points per game and 11.1 rebounds per game.  Rice transferred to Cortland where she is now a Red Dragon and a starter on the women's basketball team who has a 10-3 record.  Steph is averaging a team high 13.8 points per game, along with 5 rebounds per game at Cortland.  

Khaleeq Baum was a member of the Men's Basketball team in the 2012-2013 and 2013-2014 seasons.  Baum averaged 8.8 points per game and 7.2 rebounds per game. Khaleeq is now a member of the College of Staten Island Men's Basketball team where he is a major asset to the team.  He is averaging 16.5 minutes per game along with 8.7 points per game and 4.8 rebounds per game.  The Dolphins are 13-4 overall.  

Jigcara Grant was a member of the FM Women's Basketball team in the 2010-2011 and 2011-2012 seasons.  Grant is now an integral member of the Women's Basketball team at York College (NY) where she averages 32.5 minutes per game and 7.4 points per game.  Grant is an unstoppable rebounder as she is leading all of division III in rebounds and is third in the country as she averages 17.8 per game.
