The women's basketball team closed out their regular season with a crucial win against Hudson Valley Community College. The Lady Raiders honored sophomores Shelby Dopp, McKiea Weekes, DiAsia DeBoue and Barbara-Inez McKinney.
FM earned the victory with just five players hitting the scoring column. Niaimani Marshall led with 26 points and DeBoue finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds. McKinney finished with 12 points and 12 rebounds. Dopp contributed 7 and Mallory Baldwin rounded out the scoring with 2 points.
The Lady Raiders defense forced 25 Hudson Valley turnovers in route to a 61-56 victory. The win moved FM ahead of the Vikings in the Region 3 standings.
FM will now wait for the Region 3 Tournament seeding, in hopes to host a home postseason contest on Tuesday, February 26th.
