The women's basketball team opened up their 2019-20 season at home on Saturday. The Lady Raiders hosted Ulster Community College in a non-conference matchup. FM won the contest 85-51.
FM took a 39-28 halftime lead and started the third quarter outscoring Ulster 23-11. The Lady Raiders strong defense and rebounding led to their first victory of the season.
Four Lady Raiders scored in double figures. Djenaba Ndiaye led with 20 points and 6 steals. Hasijna Gaddy had a double-double with 18 points and 13 rebounds. Niaimani Marshall had 13 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists. Kendra Lavery finished with 12 points.
FMCC will begin Region 3 play on Saturday, November 9th when they host Onondaga Community College at 1:00 p.m.
