The women's basketball team hosted Clinton on Sunday and defeated the Cougars 74-54. Before the game, sophomores, Niaimani Marshall, Jesse Van Nostrand, Kerri Hauser, Summayah Glover and Tianna Herrigin were honored.
Niaimani Marshall closed out the 1st quarter with a three to put the Lady Raiders up 19-13. Hasijna Gaddy and Destiny Prather sparked the offense in the 2nd quarter and extended the lead to 26-15.
FM outscored Clinton 33-25 over the final two quarters to come out on top 74-54.
Niaimani Marshall had 21 points and 13 rebounds. Gaddy followed with 17 points and 13 rebounds.
The Lady Raiders will travel to Hudson Valley on Wednesday for their final regular season game. Game time is set for 5:00 p.m.
