The women's basketball team improved to 3-1 on the season with a convincing 83-63 victory over Mohawk Valley Community College.
In the first quarter, FM jumped out to a 26-10 lead. The Hawks pulled within 10 points in the second half, but FM dominated the final quarter to secure the victory.
Kiarra Kennedy had a big night for the Lady Raiders. She scored 29 points, grabbed 13 rebounds, and secured 6 steals and 4 assists. Harmony Philo shined once again with 27 points and 7 assists. Caroline Iannotti rounded out the double figure scoring with 10 points and 8 rebounds.
Madelyn Avery had a strong showing off the bench for FM. She tallied 7 points and 8 rebounds.
FMCC will be on the road this weekend. They will travel to play Corning on Saturday, January 22nd and Adirondack on Sunday.
