The Women's Basketball team fell to Jefferson Community College on Saturday afternoon in the Region 3 Semi-Final. The Lady Raiders complete their impressive 2023-2024 season with a 17-6 overall record.
Makenzie Smith led FMCC with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 6 blocks. Andie Gannon had 14 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Abigail Lombardoni rounded out double-figure scoring with 13 points and 6 rebounds.
Sophomores: Smith, Gannon and Lombardoni have had a stellar career for the Lady Raiders. The trio has combined for 39 wins over the last two seasons, a 2023 Region 3 Title and a 6th place finish at the NJCAA DIII National Tournament last season.
Andie Gannon finishes her career leading all NJCAA DIII with 25.3 points per game and 4th in rebounds with 15.1 per game. She leads the Region in both categories.
Abigail Lombardoni finishes her career leading the region in 3PT percentage at 38.0%. Makenzie Smith also leads the Region in blocks with 3.5 per game.
