Andie Gannon has notched yet another award to her remarkable basketball career at FMCC. This time, at the national level. Gannon has been selected as a 2024 First Team NJCAA Division III Women's Basketball All-American.

Andie has led the Lady Raider Basketball squad to a prolific run over the past two seasons. In her freshman season (22-23) she led FMCC to a 22-2 overall record. That season, FMCC finished the regular season with a 21-0 regular season record and a Region 3 Title. They finished 6th at the National Tournament.

This season, Andie led the nation in scoring at 25.3 points per game and 4th in rebounding at 15.1 points per game. She led her squad back to the Region 3 post-season tournament and was named Mountain Valley Conference and Region 3 Player of the Year.

"I am very grateful and appreciative to be receiving the award. Being Region 3 Player of the Year and now an All-American will forever be something very special, and something that I will always remember from FMCC. Those awards were not easy, but they were not done alone. My teammates and especially my coach, are the reason why I received these awards. It has been an amazing two years and winning a Region 3 Title. I will be graduating in May and will continue my studies in Childhood Education at Queens College," said Andie Gannon.

Andie now joins four other athletes across the nation as a First Team All-American recipient. Andie ends her FMCC playing career with 953 points, 631 rebounds, 114 assists, 159 steals and 43 blocks.

NJCAA DIII All-America Teams

"Andie becomes our 2nd, first-team NJCAA All-American and the 10th All-American in program history. She plays the game with passion and is one of the most relentless rebounders in program history. Most importantly, she leaves with region and conference championships. A winner with a bright future," said Head Coach Kevin Jones.
