The women's basketball team has earned the #5 seed in the 2025 Region III post-season tournament. The Raiders will take on the #4 Herkimer Generals on Friday, February 28th in the quarterfinals at Jefferson Community College. Game time is set for 8:15pm.
The Lady Raiders bring a 12-6 Region III record into the postseason and Herkimer finished with a 13-5 regional record. The two teams split the regular season match-ups with FM winning in January and Herkimer taking the win yesterday in the regular season finale.
"I'm really proud of our squad to get the five seed after all the adversity we had to deal with this season. It's a new season and we have to prepare for one at a time. I am happy for the girls, now we have to go and try to get this win on Friday night," said Head Coach Kevin Jones.
