The women's soccer team had a strong showing on Saturday afternoon. The Lady Raiders hosted The Jamestown Jayhawks out of Region 3's Mid State Athletic Conference. FMCC came out on top in a 4-1 victory and Alexis Klock scored three goals to lead her team.

In the first half, the Raiders dominated the ball, but were not able to find the back of the net. Both teams headed into half-time scoreless.

In the second half, Alexis Klock got things going for FM. In the 50th minute she struck from just outside the penalty box to put the home team up 1-0. In the 75th minute, Ashley Engle played a great ball to Klock for her second goal. Klock secured the hat trick, minutes later, with a successful penalty kick.

The Jayhawks were able to get one goal past FM Goalkeeper Hope Buboltz, but Engle answered with another Raider goal with 33 seconds left in the contest.

The Lady Raiders will head back on the road for their next three games. They will travel to play SUNY Adirondack on Wednesday, October 6th.
