Women's Soccer Advances to Region 3 Semi-Final

For the first time in over 25 years, the FMCC women's soccer team has secured a victory in the post-season and has advanced to the Region III Semi-Final game. The Lady Raiders secured the spot in the semi-finals with a 1-0 win over SUNY Adirondack on Saturday.

In the 60th minute, Abigail Lombardoni scored for FM. Dafne Gonzalez recorded the assist. The Raider defense was strong all game, allowing just 4 shots on goal. Gaberiella Scutt recorded the shut-out win in the net.

The Lady Raiders (4-7-1) will now take on the #1 seeded Mohawk Valley Hawks on Tuesday, October 24th. The game will take place at SUNY Poly at 2:30 p.m.
