Second Set

FM scored the first nine points of the second set, due in no small part to Whitney Ostrander's three kills and her score with a beautiful placement shot.  FM moved ahead 12-4 when Ayasia Hopkins scored with a two-forearm shot with her back to the net.

Ostrander's dink shot gave FM their 20th point. A kill by Kaylee Robinson ended the set 25-6.

Looking Ahead

This coming Saturday the Lady Raiders will get to play the team that they've been eager to play for weeks. FM will travel to Rochester to meet Region 3's #1-ranked team, Monroe CC, in pod play. The Lady Tribunes have a perfect 18-0 season record. The Raiders' record is almost as impressive at 11-1. Their only loss was to the region's #2-ranked team, Adirondack.

FM is scheduled to play Monroe at 11:45 a.m. on Saturday. Later that day FM will play Finger Lakes (10-11) and Corning (11-7). This website will publish complete coverage of those three big matches.
