Volleyball's Macenzie Ward has been named The 2019 Mountain Valley Conference Player of the Year.  Ward played an integral role at the outside hitter position for the Lady Raiders this season.

Ward led the team with 221 kills on the season and finished with 134 digs.

"Macenzie is an incredible all-around athlete and played in a significant leadership role on the team this season.  She plays every play against every team with all heart and truly loves every aspect of the game. Macenzie always has a positive attitude, is supportive of her teammates and is always pushing herself to give more every time she steps on the court. She will continue to be a key player for us next season," said Head Coach Tina Olyer
