
The FMCC Volleyball team hosted SUNY Adirondack on Tuesday evening in their first Mountain Valley Conference match of the 2024 season. The Lady Raiders came out on top 3-0; 25-20, 25-13 and 25-17.
The Timberwolves proved to be the Lady Raiders toughest match so far this season, but the Lady Raiders responded to the adversity.
Grace O'Brien led with 13 kills, 3 aces and 12 digs. Haley Tomlinson collected 11 kills and 13 digs, while Allie Salvione tallied 10 kills and 11 digs. Alaina Diffee had 9 kills and 2 blocks and Jayden DeVellis finished with 20 digs. Amber Cole notched 42 assists in the contest setting up her teammates.
The Lady Raiders will travel to Monroe Community College in Rochester on Saturday for POD play. They will take on Finger Lakes and Monroe with action beginning at Noon.
