The men's basketball team picked up its third conference road win of the week on Saturday afternoon. They traveled to take on the Clinton Cougars and came out on top with an 84-78 victory. The win put the Raiders at 4-1 on the season and 3-0 in the Mountain Valley Conference Standings.
Kennyh Hardeman led with 28 points and 13 rebounds. Schumel Shepherd followed with 27 points, 7 assists and 6 rebounds. Nick Butler and Donovan Rodriguez each had 6 points apiece.
"I am really proud of my guys. Three tough tests on the road this week, a couple long bus trips and they showed up with the effort needed to win road games in this conference. I am proud of 1-15, with their energy on the floor and energy from the guys on the bench was great," said Head Coach Ej Gallup.
The Raiders will get back to the hardwood on Thursday, November 16th when they travel to take on Conference foe, Mohawk Valley Community College. The game is set for 7:00 p.m.
