
The men's basketball team had their home opener on Thursday evening against Columbia-Greene. The Raiders shot 53.4% from the field in route to a 79-62 victory and improve to 5-2 on the year.
Ethan Hoo drilled three three pointers to extend the FMCC lead, 40-33. Columbia-Greene closed out the first half on a 7-0 run to led 41-40 at the half.
The Raiders came out strong in the second half, going a 16-0 run mid-way through the second half and led 70-51. They allowed just 22 points in total and stepped it up on the defensive end to secure the victory.
Ethan Hoo led with 22 points and 4 steals and Donovan Rodriguez with 19 points. Kennyh Hardeman had a double-double with 16 points and 19 rebounds. Schumel Shepherd collected 10 points and 2 assists.
The Raiders will travel to SUNY Adirondack on Wednesday, December 6th. They are set to tip-off with the Timberwolves at 7 p.m.
