
The men's basketball team returned to action on Saturday at home against the St. John Fisher JV team. The Raiders picked up a 108-61 victory to notch their first win of 2025 and improve to 6-2 overall.
FMCC led the Cardinals 18-16 at the 10-minute mark of the first half. The Raiders found an offensive spark over the next four minutes and led 37-23. At the half, FM led 48-26 behind a balanced offensive attack.
In the second half, it was all Raiders as they outscored Fisher, 60-35. Cooper Mason led with 22 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. Johnardo Turner sparked FM in the second half, scoring 20 points, 6 assists and 4 steals. Matej Gasevic tallied 18 points, Milos Cirovic with 16 points and 11 assists and Bogdan Bogunovic rounded out double-figure scoring with 15.
The Raiders will return to conference action on Wednesday, January 15th. They will host SUNY Adirondack at 6pm in the Raiders Den.
