The Fulton Montgomery men's basketball team has earned the #8 seed in the 2025 Region III post-season tournament. The Raiders will host the #9 Corning Red Barons in the Raiders Den on Tuesday, February 25th. Game time is set for 6pm.
The Raiders bring a 10-12 Region III record into the postseason and Corning finished with an 11-11 regional record. The two matched up early in November and the Raiders came out on top, 82-75.
"We play our entire season to get ready for one shot at a title in the regional tournament. It has always been a special time of the year for us in my four years here at FMCC. We have mostly freshman and with that we have had some hiccups and growing pains, but I wouldn't trade my guys for anyone. They are a special group of kids, that have showed up every day with great attitudes and played with great energy. I am excited for my boys that they get to experience the regional tournament and one last opportunity this season for us to battle at home against a good Corning team," said Head Coach Ej Gallup.
